UDC Meeting Recap

Many thanks to all of you who trekked out in the cold yesterday. It definitely takes heart and real hustle to do that so thanks. There was a small turnout do the the inclement weather, scheduling conflicts, and just life. It did not stop the few of us who turned out from networking and figuring out how we could work together in the future. Everybody is very excited about Harlem Textile Works, which will be home to many of our future meetings. It is a great place with a grand vision that we also be helping to actualize in the future. Laidback and Harlem Textiles are working together to get vendors to collaborate on the launch of the retail shop within HTW. We are still looking for vendors so feel free to send links to your work along with your email address to uptowndesigncollective@gmail.com Also send your email address to sign up for the newsletter that will be out later this month. First Meeting on January 25

The Uptown Design Collective will host it's first meeting of the year on Thursday, January 25, from 6-8 pm. This will be a time to network and become affiliated with and create a direction for the Uptown Design Collective. I will also introduce the Executive Director of Harlem Textile Works, Margaret Porter Troupe. We can also see how we can work together with the organization. Come out, tell a friend. Lite refreshments will be served.
